Damian and Alexander

This is my first official, full-out CG for my new comic idea! And I still don't have a title for it... T_T

Anyways, these are my two main characters: Damian (left) and Alex (right). Everyone loves stories about vampires, right?? Well, Alex is a vampire, and I'm really gonna need to do my research because I know a ton of people who are very serious about vampire legends and would catch me if I did something wrong. XD

Damian is sort of... a zombie, I guess. Now, when I say zombie, most people picture some grey, tattered thing with limbs falling off and decay and the like... And while Damian probably does have his share of maggot-related issues some days, he's not quite that... he's just sort of a corpse. He's cold as death and his heart isn't beating, but that's about it...

The story is somewhat complicated... basically all you need to know is that Alex killed Damian by sucking out too much blood, and then he revived Damian through a mysterious potion. So Damian is awake, but he's not alive... They decided, being undead freaks of nature, to live alone in a creepy house that everyone in town thinks is haunted. And there's a girl character named Margaret, a vampire hunter, that breaks into their house and finds them there. I've still got some details to work out...

BTW, this is NOT intended to be shounen-ai!! Although I'm finding it very hard to keep it from being so... XD I mean seriously, with Alex sucking on Damian's neck all the time... (Yeah, Damian isn't too happy about that...)

Oh yes... the picture itself. Well, I tried forever to come up with an idea.. I finally got one from a similar picture of Vampire Princess Miyu. I'm not extremely happy with the way it came out... the more I look at it, the funnier it looks to me. Their heads look too big. Which always seems to happen when I draw people from the side... So no criticism, please. Trust me. I know what's wrong with it. XD And I know it's kind of dark and hard to see... Gosh I love doing that. I hate using lighter tones for black...
